This Space is yours (it always was)

This is an idea that came from a conversation with a friend, we discussed the notion of using the Parklet as a way to communicate the idea that we all carry social currency with us as we interact with others outside our homes. We build social currency and capital by building social trust in our interactions with others. For instance when the Black Lives Matter movement marched in Troy, there seemed to be a lack of social trust. Business owners quickly panicked into boarding every shop window. Yet the march proved that there was still some trust left, even behind the anger and rage of the marchers, not a pane of glass was broken. There was still some remaining social currency. Now, as the pandemic rages around us, knowing we are not immune, the social trust must again be spent to support those in need. Its thinking about this that is driving the thinking about the new stock designs...hmmn, I wonder where this will go?
