How We Work

It's a very exciting moment when you decide to go ahead and make something completely new. Typicaly Nora and I design within a series, like a small body of work with minor detail changes with each expression. The only exception is when we are making a set of something. In that case we do our best to make a copy, but allow small variations of workmanship to leak through almost unnoticed in the final piece, but ultimately it is there if you look for it.

Our latest design series is almost complete and will be up on the website as soon as the pieces are photographed ( we hope everyone likes as much as we do.)

We are moving the next series to the outdoors, we are designing fun and exciting line of garden furniture. The intent is to have the pieces be interchangeable ( and movable ), with added functionality and features. The added features should be hidden in some cases, and imbedded in others. We are thinking of pieces that will be at home as a part of an urban landscape as well as the natural garden meadow. They should be arranged as to encourage a gathering as well as provide for an intimate conversation. They should act as a focal point in open space, sparking interest in whats happening. Stay tuned everyone, we are very excited about this "whats next."
