CANDLE-3-2 is a set of candelabras that combines different fabrication techniques into simple devices. The 1” thick black cherry base is heavily weighted with a ½” thick steel plate to secure the candelabra from accidentally toppling over. The stainless steel sleeves have a simple set screw mechanism that will adapt to many different candle sizes. It is simple to use and easy to clean and maintain. As a candelabra is generally used in a darker setting, color was considered to highlight the piece when in use.
