PLANT-Lo was designed with simplicity of form in mind. The orthogonal nature of all the elements is intentional. Much of the fastening is hidden to give the appearance of a loose collection of parts held together by orientation alone. The steel base is fastened by hidden welds, and the wood top is positively secured as an inlay to the steel base. The proportions are set to draw attention to the object above and create a space for presentation of a fine plant specimen.
